Angelo Azzi

Angelo Azzi is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the fields of biochemistry and molecular medicine. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the School of Graduate Biomedical Pharmacology and Drug Development and a Strategic Initiatives Advisor at the Office of the Vice Provost for Research since 2019, Angelo Azzi also holds the positions of Editor-in-Chief for both Molecular Aspects of Medicine and BioFactors/IUBMB Life at Wiley-Blackwell. Prior roles include a longstanding position as a Scientist at Tufts University from 2005 to 2018, and serving as President of the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Conference from 2005 to 2013. Angelo Azzi's academic foundation includes a Doctor of Medicine degree in Molecular Medicine from the University of Padova and a postdoctoral fellowship in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
