Axel Straube

Axel Straube is an experienced editor and chemist, currently serving as the Editor-in-Chief for the European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry and as Deputy Editor for Chemistry—A European Journal. Previously, they worked as an Associate Editor at Wiley and have held roles as a Forscher (Postdoktorand) and PhD student at Universität Leipzig, where they focused on organometallic chemistry and phosphine ligand design. Axel earned their Dr. rer. nat., as well as a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Chemistry from Universität Leipzig, graduating summa cum laude. They also completed a Master's degree at Cardiff University.
