Chris Mavergames

Chris Mavergames is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management, informatics, and technology services. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at Wiley since August 2022, Chris focuses on the Publication Knowledge Graph and AI-based services to enhance publishing workflows. Prior to this role, Chris was the Head of Informatics and Technology Services/CIO at The Cochrane Collaboration from September 2013 to August 2022, where responsibilities included leading IT and data strategy in support of executive leadership. Chris also held positions such as Director of Web Development at The Cochrane Collaboration, Metadata Librarian at The British Library, Multimedia Resources Librarian at City University of New York, and Research Assistant at Time Inc. Chris holds a Master's degree in Library Information Science from Long Island University and a Bachelor's degree in English and French from The University of Georgia.
