Darrel Swift is a Senior Lecturer in Geoscience at The University of Sheffield, a position held since December 2006, with prior experience as a Lecturer in Geoscience at the same institution. Additionally, Darrel Swift serves as an Associate Editor for Geografiska Annaler: Series A Physical Geography since January 2010. Earlier professional experience includes a role as a Royal Society of Edinburgh Research Fellow at The University of Glasgow from September 2003 to November 2006. Darrel Swift earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Glaciology from the University of Glasgow between 1997 and 2002, and holds a BSc in Dual Honours Geography and Educational Studies from Keele University, completed in 1997.
