David Goodlett

David Goodlett is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with a strong background in biochemistry and chemistry. Currently, David serves as the Founder of Mirean Scientific, holding a position as Professor and Director at the University of Victoria since October 2020. David has an extensive editorial role at Wiley that began in 2005 and has founded several companies, including Pataigin, LLC, which focuses on developing rapid bacterial and fungal assays through mass spectrometry, and DEURION, LLC, which is innovating ambient ionization methods for mass spectrometry. David's considerable teaching experience includes roles as a Professor at the University of Maryland Baltimore and the University of Washington, as well as leadership as the Director of the Proteomics Laboratory at the Institute for Systems Biology. David earned a PhD in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Auburn University.
