Joe Mazzone

Joe Mazzone has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Product Development Lead at Wiley, where they manage Coding Rooms cloud IDE, zyBooks/zyLabs, and related offerings. Joe also serves as a PrepareRI Ambassador - CS4RI at the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE), supporting efforts to provide high-quality computer science learning experiences to all students.

Previously, Joe worked at Coding Rooms as a Customer Success/Product Manager and an Independent Contractor. Joe also served as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Instructor at William M. Davies, Jr. Career and Technical High School, where they worked from 2018 to 2021. Additionally, Joe held the position of PrepareRI Ambassador - Career and Technical Education at RIDE from 2018 to 2019. Joe was the STEM Academy Department Chairperson and a CTE Instructor at Ponaganset High School from 2012 to 2018.

Joe Mazzone has an extensive educational background. Joe obtained their Master of Education (MEd) in School Leadership from Providence College, where they studied from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Technology Education at Rhode Island College from 2008 to 2012.

Joe's educational journey began at Davies Career-Tech High School, where they received their High School Diploma with a focus on Electronics and Pre-Engineering from 2004 to 2008. Besides their formal degrees, Joe also holds various certifications in different fields.
