Joel B. Talcott

Joel B. Talcott is a Professor of Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience at Aston University, where they focus on interdisciplinary cognitive neuroscience and neurodevelopmental disorders affecting children's learning outcomes. They currently direct the Development and Learning Assessment Unit, where their research explores gene-brain-behavior relationships and their developmental trajectories. Joel has held various academic leadership positions, including being the Vice President of the British Dyslexia Association and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Dyslexia.
