John Fraser is a multidisciplinary professional with extensive experience in psychology, architecture, and education. They served as President and CEO of Knology Ltd. from 2012 to 2022 and have held academic positions at institutions such as Hunter College and Indiana University, focusing on conservation psychology and earth sciences. Currently, John is the Director of Mission Impact at the Alaska SeaLife Center, where they develop social science strategies to enhance stewardship of arctic marine ecosystems. Additionally, they continue to contribute to the field as the Editor in Chief of The Museum Journal. John earned a PhD in Environmental Studies from Antioch University and holds degrees in architecture and environmental studies from the University of Waterloo.
