Jonathan Faiz

Jonathan Faiz is an experienced editor and researcher with a career spanning over 15 years in the field of chemistry. Since June 2008, Jonathan has served as Editor in Chief at Wiley, overseeing the launch and operations of journals such as ChemPlusChem and Analysis & Sensing, achieving significant growth in social media engagement and submissions. Prior roles include Deputy Editor and Senior Associate Editor at Angewandte Chemie, where responsibilities included managing peer review processes and developing journal policies. Jonathan completed postdoctoral research at Université de Strasbourg and the University of Birmingham, with notable achievements including a successful EU funding proposal. Academically, Jonathan holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and a PhD from the University of Birmingham.
