Joyce Dickerman, PhD, is a seasoned consultant specializing in knowledge integrity and digital learning solutions for higher education. Currently serving as a consultant for Golden Pod since October 2017 and as a digital learning consultant for John Wiley and Sons since June 2013, Joyce assists faculty in implementing innovative educational strategies such as flipped classrooms and adaptive learning technologies. Previously, Joyce held the position of national publishing consultant at Wiley-Blackwell for over a decade and worked as a research scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, focusing on aquatic ecology and environmental impact assessments. Joyce's early career includes serving as a Peace Corps volunteer teaching biology in Ghana. Joyce earned a PhD in Biology with a focus on Freshwater Ecology from Michigan State University, and holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Biology and Ecology from Northern Arizona University.
