Marieke Bak

Marieke Bak is a medical ethicist and researcher currently serving as a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at Amsterdam UMC, where they focus on digital health ethics and responsible research. They hold a PhD in bioethics from the University of Amsterdam and have worked as a research associate at the Technical University of Munich. Marieke previously chaired the UAEM chapter at VU University and led various projects related to ethical considerations in medicine. In addition to their academic roles, Marieke contributes to the field as an associate editor for Future Humanities and as a board member of the Dutch Society for Bioethics.
