Maureen Laroche, MSc, PhD, FRES, is currently an Assistant Professor specializing in Medical Entomology and Clinical Bacteriology. They serve as the Editor in Chief for the Medical & Veterinary Entomology Journal and hold the position of Adjunct Professor at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. Previously, Maureen had roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at KEMRI - Wellcome Trust and IHU Méditerranée Infection, and as an Associate Editor for Medical and Veterinary Entomology. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, a Master’s degree in Infectious Diseases, and a PhD in Infectious Diseases - Medical Entomology from Aix-Marseille University.
