Natalie Benton has extensive experience in both the scientific and public sectors, currently serving as a Freelance Copy-editor for macromolecular journals at Wiley-VCH since March 2003, specializing in editing for non-native English speakers. Previously, Natalie held several executive roles, including Executive Director of Corporate Services at the Security Industry Authority, leading the organization through significant changes, and Executive Director of Strategy and Performance at the Disclosure and Barring Service, focusing on safer recruitment practices. Additional experience includes positions at Cambridgeshire Constabulary, Digital Policing Portfolio, Seven Force Strategic Collaboration Programme, Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary, The Home Office, the National Policing Improvement Agency, and Northamptonshire Police. Academically, Natalie holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bristol and an MChem from the University of Bath.
