Neville Compton

Neville Compton is an accomplished editor and researcher with extensive experience in the field of chemistry. Since October 1992, Neville has held several prominent editorial positions at Wiley, including Editor-in-Chief for a small family of journals, Angewandte Chemie (both as Editor-in-Chief and Executive Editor), and Chemistry - A European Journal. Additionally, Neville served as Founding Editor-in-Chief of ChemPlusChem and held various roles at Angewandte Chemie. Prior to this, Neville worked as a freelance translator and copy editor for Wiley-VCH and others, as well as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Heidelberg and Newcastle University. Neville earned a PhD in Chemistry from Newcastle University, where studies conducted from 1983 to 1989 contributed to a strong academic foundation.
