Nolan Kane is an accomplished professional in the fields of molecular ecology and evolutionary biology. Currently serving as the Molecular Ecology News and Views Editor at Wiley-Blackwell since August 2007, Nolan oversees the publication of comments, replies, opinions, and perspectives. In addition, Nolan has been an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado since August 2013, focusing on using genomics and bioinformatics to explore ecological and evolutionary questions. Prior experience includes a role as an Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia and a Postdoctoral Fellow using genomic tools to investigate evolutionary and ecological issues within the Asteraceae family. Nolan earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Indiana University Bloomington and a Sc.B. in Biology from Brown University.
