Peter Forman is an Assistant Professor in Human Geography at Northumbria University, where they focus on the intersection of energy, infrastructures, and urban governance. Their current research investigates the societal implications of the UK hydrogen transition. Since May 2020, Peter has chaired the Energy Geographies Research Group for the Royal Geographical Society. They previously held research and teaching positions at Lancaster University, the University of York, and the University of Tübingen, and completed a PhD in Human Geography at Durham University in 2017. Peter also serves as a theme editor for the Geographies of Energy Futures Theme at Wiley.
