Peter Lund

Peter Lund is an Emeritus Professor at Aalto University with extensive experience in the field of energy and applied physics. Prior to his current role, Peter served as a Professor at Helsinki University of Technology from 1998 to 2010 and as an Associate Professor from 1992 to 1998. Currently, Peter holds positions as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the interdisciplinary journal Interdisciplinary Reviews: Energy and Environment at Wiley and Editor-in-Chief of Oxford Open Energy at Oxford University Press, focusing on key challenges in energy transition. In addition, Peter is a Changjiang Scholar Professor at Southeast University and a Senior Partner at SOLPROS. Peter has contributed to various organizations, including serving as Vice Chair of the Finnish Climate Change Panel and as a board member of the Sweden-Finland Society. Educationally, Peter holds a D.Sc. in Applied Physics from Helsinki University of Technology and completed programs at London Business School and the United Nations in 1980.
