Rachel Smith

Rachel Smith possesses extensive experience in the publishing industry, currently serving as Editorial Director at Wiley since July 2000, where responsibilities include management, development, and expansion of a portfolio of European-based journals across social and physical sciences. Prior to this role, Rachel held positions as Associate Editorial Director and Journals Publisher at Wiley and worked as an Editor at Gordon and Breach Science Publishers from July 1997 to July 2000, overseeing a portfolio of nine physical sciences journals and coordinating book projects. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French and Russian language and literature from The University of Sheffield, earned between 1991 and 1995.
