Ralf Henkel

Ralf Henkel is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in andrology, reproductive biology, and higher education administration. Currently serving as Chief Scientific Advisor at LogixX Pharma Ltd since June 2020, Ralf also holds the position of Editor in Chief for the international journal Andrologia at Wiley-Blackwell since January 2013. Ralf's tenure at the University of the Western Cape from September 2005 to June 2020 included roles as Head of Department, Senior Professor, and Acting Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Studies, overseeing significant academic and administrative responsibilities. Previous positions include Professor at the University of Jena and Research Scientist at Justus Liebig University Giessen, where Ralf developed and improved diagnostic tests in andrology. Ralf holds a Habilitation in Reproductive Biology and a PhD in Zoology/Animal Biology from the Philipp University of Marburg.
