Richard J. Smith

Richard J. Smith is currently the Executive Editor at Wiley-VHCA AG, a position held since 2022. They previously served as the Editor in Chief for PeptideScience at Wiley and as Senior Associate Editor for Chemistry – A European Journal, where they managed the peer review process for organic chemistry manuscripts. Richard also held various editorial roles at Wiley-VHCA AG, progressing from Editorial Assistant to Managing Editor. They earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Universität Zürich, having studied Chemistry at ETH Zürich prior to that.
