Sue Kater

Sue Kater is a community college scholar and practitioner with extensive experience in educational leadership and research. They currently serve as the Incoming Editor-in-Chief for New Directions for Community Colleges at Wiley and hold the position of Associate Professor at Idaho State University. Previously, Sue has contributed as an Adjunct Faculty member at Northern Arizona University and as an Associate Vice Chancellor for Institutional Strategy, Research, & Effectiveness at Maricopa Community Colleges. Additionally, they have been actively involved with various organizations, including the League for Innovation in the Community College as an Educational Consultant and the Community College Review as an Editorial Board Member. Sue is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education/Community Colleges at the University of Arizona.
