Jim Douglas

Jim Douglas is a seasoned professional in the energy and engineering solutions sector, currently serving as Vice President at Willdan since March 2019. With a robust background that includes leadership and operational roles at The Weidt Group prior to its acquisition by Willdan, Jim has played a crucial role in providing energy design assistance and optimizing equipment selections for clients nationwide. Previous experience includes serving as Energy Sector Leader at EYP, where Jim managed decision-making and profit and loss for the Energy Sector, as well as working as a Performance Contract Engineer at Honeywell, focusing on business development in performance contracts. Jim began a career in energy conservation as a Research Fellow at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, following a strong academic foundation in Mechanical Engineering with both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Minnesota.
