I am a conservationist and my wall-mounted and standing pieces of functional wood art are sculpted from naturally weathered woods.  It is respect for the processes and mysteries of nature that informs my art. My designs come from the distorted boards I rescue and I enjoy  highlighting nature's unique way of signing each piece of wood. Powerfully infused with metaphors, my functional wood sculptures represent perseverance through the storms of life.  I partner with nature by honoring the wood that has served the planet, first as a tree, and then as an outbuilding. Showcasing the beauty of age and the glory of endurance, my pieces result in texture-rich, museum quality works of art that speak to the soul.
