The WILLIAM FOX, JR. FOUNDATION, named for the founder of the Fox  Film Corporation’s grandson, is a private grant-making foundation supporting institutions and programs that educate for life.
Particular attention is placed on supporting programs whose purposes are to educate through digital media and the visual and performing arts. The Foundation provides grants for the development of new ways in which to use technology in the field of education. It is committed to developing our country's educators using digital media and other new technologies.

The Foundation also supports specific health-related issues and the search for a cure for certain diseases, including Asthma, Multiple Sclerosis, and Cancer.
