John Merancy

John Merancy, P.E., PMP, has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Construction, Manager of Projects, and Project Director at Williams since May 2007. In this role, John is the Program Manager for the Emissions Reduction Program (ERP), a significant $2B+ initiative aimed at reducing NOx and Methane emissions along the Transco and Northwest pipeline systems by upgrading aging equipment to newer, more efficient models. Prior to this, John served as a Nuclear Power Plant Operator in the US Navy from September 1996 to July 2002. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston, earned between 2003 and 2007.
