Jon Hembree

Jon Hembree, PE, CWEng, CWI, is a highly skilled welding engineer with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as a Staff Welding Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Williams since July 2019, Jon acts as an expert witness in welding engineering and has developed a group to support welding needs. Previous roles include Senior Welding SME at Williams, Welding Engineer at Optimized Process Designs LLC, QA/QC Manager at Koch Heat Transfer Company, and Consulting Welding Engineer both independently and at John Zink Hamworthy Combustion. Jon holds a Master of Science in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University and multiple degrees in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tulsa. Additionally, Jon has experience as an adjunct faculty member where curriculum development for Mechanical Engineering Graphics was undertaken.
