Johnathan Modisett

Johnathan brings over twenty years of accounting and financial reporting experience to WilliamsMarston. Since joining WilliamsMarston, Johnathan has advised clients on the implementation of the new revenue and lease standards, mergers and acquisitions, and various other complex technical accounting matters such as evaluation of variable interest entities, debt vs. equity, preferred stock, stock-based compensation and financial reporting.

Prior to WilliamsMarston, Johnathan was in the Assurance practice of Ernst & Young for twelve years. While at EY, Johnathan led engagements and fieldwork for clients ranging from small, private domestic entities to international Fortune 500 companies. Johnathan’s industry experience includes telecommunications, mining and aggregates, software-as-a-service, and agriculture, amongst others. Throughout his career, Johnathan has advised clients on technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP and IFRS, acquisitions, divestitures, SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Johnathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia. Johnathan is a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia.
