Michael Shoe

Michael Shoe serves as the Director of Emergency Management and Homeland Security for Williamson County since October 2019, overseeing the comprehensive emergency management program, including preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation efforts. Previously, Michael held roles within Williamson County's Office of Emergency Management, starting as an Emergency Management Specialist in 2017 and advancing to Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator. Prior to this, experience includes a position as TDEM State and Federal Planner with the Texas Homeland Security Office, and a Transportation Supervisor at Round Rock ISD. Michael's military background includes significant leadership roles in the U.S. Army, contributing to operations, training, and resource management for various units. Michael holds a degree in Criminal Justice from Austin Community College.
