Steven Snell is currently serving as the Williamson County Judge since 2025. They previously held several leadership roles, including Superintendent of Schools at Spring Hill ISD from 2014 to 2018, and Principal at Brazoswood High School in Brazosport Independent School District from 2006 to 2011. Snell also worked as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction at Hutto ISD from 2011 to 2014, and as Assistant Superintendent of Administration and Strategic Planning at Hutto ISD for a brief period in 2014. They were recognized as the 2024 Region 13 Superintendent of the Year while serving as Superintendent in Liberty Hill Independent School District from 2018 to 2025. Snell holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, as well as a Bachelor of Science in History, both from Texas Tech University.
