Simon Carter

Simon Carter is an experienced professional in process improvement and lean methodologies within the construction and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Process Improvement at Willmott Dixon since October 2021, Simon has previously worked as a consultant with Lean Construction International Ltd, delivering cultural change and sustainable benefits for major UK construction firms. As the owner of Henko Solutions, Simon utilized lean tools across various industries, including manufacturing and petrochemicals. Simon has held key roles in operational improvement at Hewden, lean consulting at RWD Technologies, and has a background in full TPM rollout at Lean Manufacturing and Resourcing. Furthermore, Simon has extensive experience as a senior lean consultant and has developed through multiple positions at JCB. Simon holds an HNC in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Staffordshire.
