Darla Burr, M. Ed is an experienced Elementary School Teacher who has worked at Willowwind School and Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District. Darla also has experience as a Claims Service Representative at York Risk. Darla holds a Master of Arts in Education from Alliant International University, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis, and an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Solano Community College.

At Willowwind School, learning is accomplished through membership in a community. Classes are multi-age and students and teachers work together to form cross-grade partnerships in a caring, purposeful community of learners. Company Overview Imagine a classroom where children are engaged in animated discussions, where cross-age groups work together to create a science project, where partners interview each other for a writing assignment, where learning takes place outside the building as well as inside. All of this and more happens at Willowwind School both in our Montessori-style preschool classrooms as well as in our kindergarten through sixth grade classrooms.
