Philip Mitchell

Philip Mitchell has extensive experience in finance, currently serving as the Head of Finance at WilmerHale since November 2014. Prior to this role, Philip held the position of Finance Director at Howard Kennedy FSI from February 2013 to September 2014, focusing on the integration of newly combined practices. Between January 1992 and January 2013, Philip worked as Practice Director at Finers Stephens Innocent LLP, managing various non-legal aspects of the firm, including finance and IT. Philip's career began at KPMG, where from September 1978 to December 1991, responsibilities included overseeing a department specializing in audit and accounting for finance and insurance clients. Philip received a BSc(Econ) in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science, where studies took place from 1975 to 1978, and completed earlier education at Hendon County Grammar School.
