Jonathan Gerhardt

Jonathan Gerhardt has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and network administration. Jonathan started their career as an Information Technology Technician at Dixie State University, where they provided IT support and troubleshooting. Jonathan then moved on to become a System Administrator, where they worked with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, VmWare, Nagios, and PowerShell. During their time at Dixie State University, they also served as a Network and Telecom Administrator, where they handled monitoring and alerting of SNMP traffic, set up Cisco Call Manager and VOIP phones, and performed vlan changes regularly. Later, Jonathan became an Information Security Analyst and was responsible for building and maintaining a SIEM infrastructure, including setting up an Elastic Stack cluster for log analysis and configuring Elastalert for event alerting.

Jonathan also gained experience in physical security and data center operations as a Network Operations Controller at Tonaquint Data Center, Inc. Jonathan was responsible for monitoring the data center's physical security, recording temperatures, and overseeing customer equipment and data center access.

Currently, Jonathan is working as a Network Engineer at Wilson Electronics, where they are responsible for network administration, including security, installation, and maintenance. Jonathan identifies vulnerabilities in the network and ensures its smooth functioning.
