Wilson Care Group is one of the state’s largest long term care businesses which comprises of multiple entities to include Wilson Homecare, a licensed home health care agency and licensed homecare agency. Wilson Senior Living Kailua is a state-licensed, adult residential care home, Expanded-type II.
In January 2020, hearing about personal protective equipment (PPE) supply shortages on the mainland U.S. and around the world, owner Shelley Wilson began purchasing PPE for her 500 nurses, caregivers, and clients, along with extra supplies for fellow healthcare professionals in the local community. Demand for these products became so high that soon after she started a separate company called Be Well Hawaii which only sell its medical grade PPE to hospitals, first responders, government agencies, and others with a need for such specialized products. To ensure a supply of products like face masks, gloves, infrared thermometers, and hand sanitizer which became essential to families, offices, schools, restaurants, retail stores, hotels, and other businesses could operate safely. Alohamask.com was created as a division of Be Well Hawaii to proudly make these products available to anyone who needs them.
