Claude Willems

Claude Willems has extensive work experience in various IT roles. Claude began their career in 1997 as an IT Analyst at Belgacom. From 2000 to 2009, they worked at NRB, where they served as an IT Manager and later as an IT Project Engineer and IT Project Manager. In 2009, they joined Westinghouse Electric Company as an IT Manager for Belgium and France. Claude then moved on to SPI agence de développement pour la province de Liège in 2013, where they held the position of CIO/Head of IT Department until 2018. In 2013, they also started working at WCSI as an Advisor. In 2017, Claude became an Ambassador for Wallonia.be. Most recently, since 2021, they have been serving as the Head of Infrastructure & Cloud Services at Win s.a.

Claude Willems has a diverse education history, beginning with a Master's degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Liège, which was completed from 1991 to 1997. In 2003, Claude received a certification in Project Leadership Management & Communication from The George Washington University School of Business. In 2004, Claude obtained a certification in ITIL Foundation v2 from EXIN, followed by another certification in ITIL Foundation v3 from the same institution in 2010.

Claude also pursued further certifications related to information security management systems. In 2015, Claude received an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer certification from PECB. Continuing in this field, Claude obtained a certification in ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer from PECB once again in 2018.

Additionally, Claude sought to enhance their knowledge in other areas. In 2014, Claude attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for a certification program focused on tackling the challenges of big data. In the same year, Claude obtained a certification in ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer from Nitroxis - PECB. In 2018, Claude attended the University of Liège for a program called "Gérer son entreprise autrement."

In terms of additional certifications, Claude obtained various certifications related to different aspects of technology, including a Veeam Technical Sales Professional / Cloud Service Provider certification from Veeam Software in 2023, a Short Range Certificate (CEPT ERC recommendation T/R 31-04) from BIPT - IBPT in 2023, a Veeam Certified Sales Professional (VMSP) certification from Veeam Software in 2022, a Veeam Certified Technical Sales Professional (VMTSP) certification from Veeam Software in the same year, and a Veeam Certified XaaS Professional (VMXP) certification, also from Veeam Software, in 2022. Claude also obtained a variety of other certifications from different institutions, including a Certificate UAS (drone) Open A1 & A3 from FOD Mobiliteit en Vervoer / SPF Mobilité et Transports in 2023, an International certificate for operators of pleasure craft from SPF Mobilité et Transports in 2022, an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer certification from PECB in 2015, and an ITIL v3 certification from EXIN.

Overall, Claude Willems has a strong educational background in computer sciences, information security management systems, project leadership and management, and various other aspects of technology.
