Scott Hoffmann has a long and varied work experience. Scott began their career in 1988 as a Manager - Transmission Engineering with Wisconsin Bell. In 1990, they moved to Ameritech where they held the roles of State Account Manager, Marketing Manager, and Manager of Designed Facilities. In 1994, they became the Director of Market Technology at Wood County Telephone Company. In 1999, they joined WIN Technology as Chief Executive Officer, and also became a Coach Administrator - Board of Directors - Past Commissioner for AYSO Region 803 / Chippewa Valley Soccer League. In 2003, they became a Member Board of Directors for INDATEL Services. In 2008, they joined Midwest Video Solutions, LLC as a Member Board of Directors. In 2013, they became a Member Board of Directors for Metropolitan Unified Fiber Network. In 2015, they became an Executive Board Member for Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2018, they joined Chippewa Valley Technical College as a CVTC Foundation.

Scott Hoffmann received their Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1988. Scott then went on to pursue a Master in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Marquette University, which they completed in 1994. In 1999, they earned a Master in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Scott has also attended executive education courses at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
