Winar Connection

Winar Connection, Inc. is an electrical distributor, specializing in electrical connectors, cable ties, heat shrink products and other related items. The company was incorporated in April of 1982, as Winar Connection, Inc. The Company started out in a 2,000 square foot office and warehouse space on Brookpark Road in Parma, Ohio. The company founders and four equal owners were George Rees, James Winar, Roy Winar and   William Winar. When Roy passed away in 1985, his brother, Tom Winar, replaced him as Treasurer and as a board member of the company. Winar #1 Sales, Inc. has grown and expanded several times in its twenty- five year history. In 1984, the Parma location was moved to a 5,000 square foot space in Independence, Ohio. Four years later, Winar Connection, Inc. purchased #1 Sales, Inc., a friendly competitor, in Ravenna, Ohio. In 1991, #1 Sales, Inc. moved to a 5,000 square foot office and warehouse space on 37 acres in Richfield, Ohio. This location was selected with future growth in mind. In 1994, a 12,000 square foot addition was completed and the Independence Winar Connection, Inc. facility was moved to the Richfield location. In 2001, another 10,000 square foot addition was completed. At this time Winar Connection, Inc. and #1 Sales, Inc. were merged to become Winar #1 Sales, Inc. Striving to build the highest quality wire harness possible.
