Winchester Radio is a charity with underlying health & wellbeing objects. We provide the community radio service for Winchester and the surrounding area, broadcasting on 94.7FM, on DAB Digital Radio, and online. We're available to patients in the Royal Hampshire County Hospital via the bedside entertainment system.
Our service is aimed at the over-50s, and as well as playing a great selection of music, we promote grass-roots community groups, charities, and sports clubs in and around Winchester, encouraging listeners to have an active life, engaged with their local community - and in so doing, improve their health & wellbeing.
Winchester Radio is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, registered with the Charity Commission for England & Wales: number 1160752.  Winchester Radio is the incorporated successor to the original Winchester Hospital Radio charity.
