Next Generation Ammunition Mechanical And Project Engineer at Winchester Ammunition

Cody Smith is a skilled engineer with a strong background in both military and civilian fields. Currently serving as a Next Generation Ammunition Project/Process Engineer at Winchester Ammunition since June 2022, Cody previously worked as a Counter Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (CUAV) Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where oversight of UAV projects included manufacturing and assembling over 100 UAVs and analyzing extensive datasets. Prior to that, a tenure with the United States Air Force included roles as a Maintenance Operations Coordinator, responsible for monitoring maintenance of Boeing B-52H aircraft, and as a Bomber Aircraft Maintainer. Educational achievements include ongoing MBA studies at Indiana University, and multiple degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, alongside an Associate degree in Airframe Mechanics from the Community College of the Air Force.
