Stephen Asher

Stephen Asher has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Stephen is currently working at WinCup as a Project Engineer, a role they have held since February 2022. Prior to that, they were a Plant Engineer at WinCup from May 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining WinCup, Stephen worked at Georgia-Pacific LLC in various capacities. Stephen started as an R&D Technician in August 2016 and was responsible for gypsum wallboard materials testing. Stephen then progressed to become an R&D Process Engineer in March 2019, where they led the design, commissioning, and utilization of pilot process equipment. In November 2020, they were promoted to Research Engineer, managing R&D pilot process equipment and conducting engineering and experimental tests. Stephen's tenure at Georgia-Pacific lasted until May 2021.

Prior to their time at Georgia-Pacific, Stephen worked as a Native Language Instructor at Korean Language Academies in South Korea from November 2009 to April 2016. In this role, they taught English to students of various age groups.

Before their international experience, Stephen worked at the Institute of Paper Science and Technology from August 2006 to July 2009 as a Research Technician II. Stephen performed and assisted in corrosion-based materials testing, including setting up lab equipment and executing research techniques.

Stephen started their career as a Steel Fabrication Intern at B&M FABRICATION SERVICES INC from October 2002 to August 2006. In this role, they assisted in the fabrication and installation of steel-based structures, performing tasks such as welding, cutting, and bending steel.
