David Witcher is the Vice President of Turbine Systems at Wind Catching Systems, where they support the development of multi-rotor floating wind technology. With over 20 years in the renewables industry, David has held senior roles in technical leadership, management, and technical sales, driven by a passion for the energy transition to a low carbon future. They have extensive expertise in wind turbine design, numerical simulation techniques, and holistic wind farm control policy development, alongside experience with tidal and wave energy technologies. David previously held roles at Arup and DNV GL, where they managed teams and developed leading software solutions for the wind sector. Currently, David is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Surrey.
