Chris Spencer

Chris Spencer, P. Eng, is a seasoned engineering professional with over three decades of experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as a Technical Lead – System Test Software Engineer at Wind River since September 2023, Chris previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Ericsson Canada from January 2010 to September 2023, where responsibilities included the architecture and development of automated testing environments for 4G/5G radios. Chris's earlier roles include Technical Deployment Professional and Senior Engineer at Ericsson Canada, as well as various engineering positions at Nortel Networks, where expertise encompassed CDMA and EVDO products, software development, and technical support. A graduate of Memorial University with a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering, Chris has demonstrated a strong ability to lead and manage complex technical projects throughout a distinguished career.
