Gaurav Sood is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in cloud security and vulnerability management, currently leading initiatives at Wind River since April 2022. At Wind River, responsibilities include formulating product governance strategies and driving compliance with industry security standards to enhance customer value. Prior to this role, Gaurav served as an Information Security Leader at Cognizant, focusing on security architecture and the transition of legacy systems to public clouds. With a notable tenure at Cisco Systems, Gaurav managed strategic security programs, driving a cultural shift towards proactive security practices, while also overseeing significant DevSecOps and vulnerability management initiatives. Gaurav began his career at Infosys Technologies, leading transformative projects and achieving notable certifications ahead of schedule. Gaurav holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur.
