Greg Waines is a highly experienced technology architect with over 38 years in the telecom and networking industries. Currently serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Wind River since July 2013, Greg specializes in architecting the Titanium Server for the NFV platform. Prior to this role, Greg worked at Genband as a Senior Telecom Platform Architect, focusing on evolving software and hardware platforms while supporting virtualization and cloud-based products. Greg's extensive background also includes a long tenure at Nortel, where as a Senior Telecom Software Architect, technical roadmaps and designs were developed for a large group providing Linux-based middleware and networking software for various telecom products. Greg holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
