Martin Edwards

Martin Edwards is an experienced software engineer and technical leader with a robust background in embedded systems and IoT solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Wind River since March 2013, Martin leads the architecture and development of the Edge Management System (EMS), an IoT platform for managing embedded devices via cloud technology. Prior experience includes roles at General Dynamics Canada, where Martin designed software for integrated multi-sensor systems; Cisco Systems, focusing on development for Frame Relay and IP protocols; Nortel Networks, where Martin contributed to various projects on the Passport Router/Switch platform; and Artech Digital Entertainments, developing video games for home computing platforms. Martin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from McMaster University.
