Steve Long

Steve Long is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and customer success. Currently serving as Senior Director of Customer Success at Wind River since 2004, Steve has also held roles such as Engineering Director for Open Source Platforms and Senior Linux Engineering Manager. Prior to Wind River, Steve worked at Sun Micro Systems as an MTS IV Software Engineer, Lucent Technologies as a Manager of Test Automation, and various engineering positions at Ascend Communications and TRW. Steve has also dedicated time to nonprofit work, including positions as President of the Piedmont Baseball Softball Foundation and the Sequoyah Hills Homeowners Association. A graduate of Wright State University with a B.S.C.E. in Computer Engineering, Steve has cultivated a robust skill set focused on software quality and automation throughout a diverse career.
