Erica Bertone

Erica Bertone is a seasoned professional in data science, currently serving as the Data Science Business Lead at Wind Tre since August 2018, where responsibilities include developing machine learning solutions for customer value management focused on next best actions and contextual marketing. Prior to this role, Erica was a Senior Data Scientist at Wind Tre, where development of machine learning solutions for the telecom industry was a key focus, alongside close collaboration with the MLOps team to create automated frameworks for model deployment and monitoring. Erica's earlier experience includes a consultancy role in data science at Nextbit from May 2016 to August 2018, where analysis and implementation of machine learning and statistical models for major financial institutions took place, in partnership with the R&D team on natural language processing solutions. Erica holds an MBA from Luiss Business School (2019-2021), a Master's in Statistical Science and Economics from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca (2014-2016), and a Bachelor's in Statistical Science from the same institution (2011-2014), along with a scientific high school diploma.
