Mark Dryden

Mark Dryden is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Associate at WIND Ventures since August 2023. Prior experience includes serving as an Investor at Plug and Play Tech Center, where Mark led four investments, screened over 1800 pitches, and developed extensive relationships within venture capital. Prior to that, Mark worked as an MBA Associate Intern at Wincrest Capital, supporting financial modeling and sector research for an Energy Transition Fund. Mark's engineering background includes roles as Lead Integration Engineer and Development Engineer at Highview Power, where Mark contributed to the development of the world's first grid-scale CRYOBattery. Mark's educational credentials include an MBA from Duke University focused on Energy Finance and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
