Hermas Chan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Hermas started their career in 2010 as the Founder of Tianyi Public Relations Limited, where they created an app and managed the company's website. In 2012, they worked as a Market Sales Manager at Golden Moon Investment Limited. From 2015 to 2016, they served as an Assistant Manager at Stage Line 9 Entertainment Limited. In 2016, they joined Jiayuan International Group Limited as an Investor Relations Manager, responsible for large-scale residential and commercial complex projects. In 2019, they moved to Symphony Holdings Limited as an Investor Relations Manager, focusing on sports brands and retail operations. In 2020, they became the Head of Investor Relations at Datang Group Holdings Limited, a property developer in China. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Institutional Sales at Wind Information, starting in 2023.

Hermas Chan completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business & Management from Brunel University London from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended St. Joan of Arc Secondary School from 2000 to 2006, where they obtained a HKCEE degree in Academic Subject. In 2007, they also completed a Foundation degree in International Foundation in Business & Management from the University of East Anglia.
