Haoxing du

Haoxing Du is a Technical Program Manager and Machine Learning Engineer at WindBorne Systems since July 2024, focusing on developing WeatherMesh, an advanced weather model. Previously, Haoxing served as a Member of Technical Staff at METR from March 2023 to March 2024, where responsibilities included building evaluations for dangerous autonomy and fine-tuning frontier models. A Machine Learning Research Intern at Redwood Research from August 2022 to February 2023, contributions included software development for circuit discovery in neural networks. Academic experience includes research at Berkeley Lab, responsibilities as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, and internships at Ripple. Haoxing holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Harvey Mudd College, a Master of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Arts in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley.
